Course Description

Music theory is fun! In this week-long fundamentals of music theory course, we’ll explore key signatures, scales, intervals, time signatures, chord types, inversions, and roman numeral analysis. We’ll learn how to read and analyze music, and even write some music of our own! The course is designed for students who want to gain a fundamental understanding of theory in a short time. Excellent college prep or review course. No previous experience necessary. Open to grades 8-12.
