Course Description

The G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) superfamily comprise similar proteins arranged into families or classes, making it one of the largest in the mammalian genome. Known for their distinctive features, including a seven-transmembrane domain, they can differ extensively based on substrate and mechanism of activation, relevant for pharmacological modulation. This module will provide a brief overview of GPCR pharmacology and drug discovery.
