Join OLLI members for an exclusive visit to the Frist Art Museum to experience the landmark exhibition Paul McCartney Photographs 1963–64: Eyes of the Storm.

Open to all OLLI members and designed especially for participants in our British Invasion course with Robbie Fry.

Our visit begins with a special presentation by Mark Scala, Chief Curator who will share insights into the exhibition and McCartney’s photography. Members will enjoy entry into the exhibition Paul McCartney Photographs 1963–64: Eyes of the Storm, including access to the exhibitions New African Masquerades: Artistic Innovations and Collaborations, This Face Behind This Mask Behind This Skin, and Avenues to a Great City.

In this extraordinary collection, Paul McCartney’s lens captured the excitement, exhaustion, and exhilaration of Beatlemania’s earliest days. With nearly 300 rediscovered photographs, Eyes of the Storm provides an intimate and historic perspective of The Beatles—John, Paul, George, and Ringo—as they journeyed from Liverpool and Paris to their sensational arrival in New York and Miami.
