Course Description

We will have two special presentations. One will be in the Civil Rights Room where the materials exhibited capture the drama of a time when thousands of African-American citizens in Nashville sparked a nonviolent challenge to racial segregation in the city and across the South. We will also have a special presentation in the Votes for Women room that was created to mark the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to The Constitution.
