The Vanderbilt University Precollegiate and Adult Continuing Education (VUPACE) system provides registration services for a variety of programs at Vanderbilt. These VUPACE-affiliated programs include Peabody College’s Programs for Talented Youth (PTY), Blair School’s Precollege and Adult Programs, etc. While using the VUPACE system to register for any of the affiliated programs Vanderbilt University collects information from web site visitors as described below.

  • This site's interactive forms, such as the registration forms for various programs, user profiles and the password-protected Student Portal, may require users or parents/legal guardians to provide contact information about themselves and/or the child they are registering. The forms may also require financial information for the purpose of billing and payment. This information is used to provide appropriate services through the system. Other optional information, such as income level and ethnic origin, is collected on some forms to describe the population in aggregate, and also to help identify students who may be eligible for financial assistance or scholarships.

  • VUPACE, nor any of its affiliated programs, does not share any personally identifiable information about participants or their families with organizations outside of Vanderbilt University, except as required to enable students to pay online via credit card. VUPACE, nor any of its affiliated programs, does not rent or sell any personally identifiable information about participants or their families.

  • Occasionally, VUPACE and/or its affiliated programs may distribute information about related programs to participants, but such information is only sent to those who voluntarily "opt in" and indicate that they wish to receive such information.

  • Individual programs that use this site for their admission and registration processes may have more detailed privacy policies in addition to those covered by VUPACE. Contact information for each of the programs can be found on the Contact page.

The VUPACE site may contain links to other sites. Vanderbilt University, VUPACE, and the VUPACE-affiliated programs are not responsible for the privacy practices nor the content of such web sites.

To correct or update information collected through this web site, contact your program representative. If you have questions about this privacy statement or the practices of this site, email pace@vanderbilt.edu.
