Blair Academy at Vanderbilt New Student Application

Welcome to the Vanderbilt Blair Academy!

New children, youth, and adult students to Vanderbilt Blair Academy can choose from an array of lessons, classes, choral and instrumental ensembles at Blair. Students can participate in private, group, and Suzuki lessons in classical, folk and jazz instruments. There are classes for all ages.

Once a placement has been made, students should create a new student account to register online. Please see the registration video for guidance with this process: https://blair.vanderbilt.edu/blair-academy/index.php

Registration for classes can occur after speaking with course instructors to see if space is available. There is a placement test for Music Theory that will occur on the first day of classes.

Auditions for the Vanderbilt Youth Orchestra program and the Vanderbilt Youth Choirs program occur both in the fall and spring term. Information for times and locations can be found on the Blair Academy website.
