Course Description

The Courageous Voices in Action project is a cohort of 10-15 adults in the Nashville community interested in taking steps to advocate for LGBTQIA+ inclusion and thriving in religiously complex social and moral landscapes. Sessions and workshops will focus on LGBTQIA+ advocacy, religious literacy, and moral courage toward activism. Meetings take place in-person and virtually. This project is a collaboration between the Carpenter Program in Religion, Gender, and Sexuality and the Cal Turner Program for Moral Leadership in the Professions. Contact Dr. Rachel Heath (rachel.a.heath@vanderbilt.edu) for more information.
