Course Description

Monday, October 26
Time: 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Location: Tour begins at the Vaughn Home, 394 24th Ave. S., Nashville

Join Brandon Hulette for an extended 60-minute tour exploring the legends, hauntings, landmarks, and lingering mysteries of Vanderbilt’s campus. This special tour will take you to several historic (and maybe haunted) locations, including the Vaughn Home, Medical Center North, VUMA, 1101 (home of the beloved Princess the Cat), Central Library, and the historic graves at Bishops Common. Along the way, you’ll hear the stories behind the final resting places of McTyeire, McKendree, and Soule, uncover fascinating moments from Vanderbilt’s past, and learn why the Vaughn Home is widely considered the university’s most haunted building. Don’t miss this once-a-year opportunity to experience Vanderbilt’s history, legends, and ghost stories just in time for Halloween!

This event is weather-dependent and will be canceled in the event of rain or inclement weather.
Free for OLLI at Vanderbilt members; $15 for non-members
